Personality
Skeptical and inquisitive, Tahlir is almost always sure that if he did
not
read it, it cannot be completely true. He loves to ask questions,
perhaps
to the brink of being an annoyance, to be sure he fully understands
something.
He tries to be kind and compassionate, having read of the hardships
many
face when they do not grow up behind castle walls. Always hoping to be
helpful, he always keeps a couple of books by his side to help him
through
a situation.
Inherited most likely from his sidhe mother, Tahlir cannot bring
himself to
leave a task unfinished. He can, however, be a perfectionist...leaving
tasks uncompleted for long periods of time while he figures out the
best
way to proceed.
Background
Born into a fortunate home, Tahlir Boroweis Callanor Anstaph took full
advantage of his situation in his youth. Spending his days in
Brightstar
Castle on the coastal city of Tandanu, Tahlir became infatuated with
books
from even before he knew the meaning of the words.
Ignorant of the 'real world' still in his young isolation, Tahlir sees
the
world through the eyes of the books he pores over (often by candle
light
when he should have long since been asleep). The triumphs of past and
the
struggles of the day keep him enthralled in his reading, and he is
always
ready to pat himself on the back for thinking up inventions or tactics
to
help the world.
He is still very young and is bound to change as he grows, but intends
on
making his books and knowledge a large part of his life.
