Joral Brightstar, Eleventh Child

Description

Personality

Joral is curious, even for a child. He asks questions about anything and
everything he hasn't heard about or seen before, sometimes to the point of
getting severely annoying. He takes an interest in the same things other
little boys do - mock fights, games, and sports - but, unlike most young
children, he is very interested in what he can learn from books. Especially
magic, while a slow and tedious study, fascinates him. His relationship to it
is still that of a child, however, exploring its use for causing mischief is
at least as interesting as its actual uses to him.
Joral isn't very afraid of strangers, although he's often somewhat shy and
quiet around them. If at all possible, he'll let his parents do the talking
while he shyly hides behind one of them. When forced to talk to a stranger,
he'll say as little as possible at first, but once the ice is broken, which
may not take very long at all, he'll revert back to his normal self, being
inquisitive to the point of being a pest.

Apart from what is stated, Joral is very much like most little boys. He still
thinks girls have cooties, and considers anything remotely pink, purple, red,
or fluffy to be girly.

Background

Joral is the child of Kalarus and Alora Brightstar. He has lived a very
protected life so far, in the family castle near Tandanu, along with his
siblings and parents.
